Technical Commercial Specialist

Solution Instrumentation designs and integrates industrial control and measurement systems for clients in the concrete, aggregates, and bulk materials sectors. We grow by executing correctly, not by chasing volume.

This is not a commission-based sales role, but it is indeed a sales role.

You take charge of the client relationship as soon as the phone rings: answering incoming sales calls, framing the work with the technical team, closing the sale, scheduling the work within our team's capacity, and remaining involved until billing.

You will work closely with our technical manager and our project and field service teams. A small technically credible team where your work is visible and your judgment matters.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming sales calls from clients
  • Frame the work with the technical team and close the sale
  • Schedule confirmed work within the team's capacity
  • Draft statements of work (SOW) and capture change orders
  • Take charge of each project from the first call to billing

Requirements

  • Bilingual in French and English
  • 5 years or more of field experience in electrical, control, automation, or instrumentation
  • Read electrical plans, diagrams, and P&ID
  • Comfortable closing a sale over the phone
  • Use a CRM as a work tool, not "in your head"

Assets

  • Previous experience in inside sales at an instrumentation distributor or a controls firm
  • Knowledge of Odoo
  • Network of contacts in the concrete, aggregates, or bulk materials sectors
  • Experience in project coordination
